oran Shrem specializes in managing, su-

pervising, coordinating, quality control and

quality assurance of large, complex, diverse

and unique domestic and international engineering

projects (mega-projects) for civil engineering, infra-

structures, processes and industrial engineering,

as well as management for projects worth approxi-

mately NIS20 billion.The company stresses promot-

ing and managing projects through the well-known

PMI international projectmanagementmethodology

PMBOK Project Management Book of Knowledge,

through a meticulously high level of excellence, in-

novation and efficiency. The company was founded

by its two partners Ami Poran and Shlomy Shrem in

2005 and currently has about 65 employees. The

company is authorized by the ISO9001 international

standard for projectmanagement and real estate ap-

praisal, and supported in all the preliminary stages

in Israel the Green Standard receipt process for the

IDF’s Training Campus.

The Methodology

PoranShremhas developed amethodology, aswell

as uniqueworkprocedures, relating and influencing

all stages of the project and providing a full systems

package, including an engineering package of or-

ganization and methods, PMO, timetables and risk

management, supporting project management and

involving it in the engineering core of the project

and leading it from end to end for the overall com-

ponents required for its success. Thismethodology,

combinedwith selected and scrupulousmanpower,

allows organizational integration in every project and

the best work for the customer as part of the DNA,

which paves the way to success.

Main projects

IDFTraining Campus in the Negev –

DBOT project of

approximately 250,000-sq.m., covering 625 acres of

which 325 acres have been developed for NIS2 bil-

lion. As part of this project, the company serves on

behalf of the concessionaire and building contrac-

tor as planning and control manager of the project

from end to end.

The National Library in Jerusalem –

A unique na-

tional building in which the company is managing

the project from planning through to full delivery

to the customer. The project is centrally located in

Jerusalem close to the Knesset. Designed by the

HDM international architects firm, the building en-

compasses 45,000-sq.m.

Jerusalem Light Rail –

The company provided the

EPC contractor planning and supervision manage-

ment services for building the depot, passenger

stations and transformer stations, including sup-

porting the customer in all stages of delivery, pre-

paring technical literature and building a training

system.

Transport Projects –

The company has experience

in project management and quality assurance ser-

vices for highways, railways, bridges, tunnels and

airports.

Defense Industry Projects –

The company has ex-

perience in the management, planning and control

of large and complex projects, for all units of the

defense establishment, including relocation of army

bases, computing high tech facilities, garages and

designated infrastructures.

Private Sector Projects –

The company has experi-

ence in building logistic centers, residential and

office buildings, laboratories, control and data

centers and more.

PPP Projects –

Recently the company has gained

major knowhow in PPP, PFI and DBOT funded proj-

ects in design, planning, execution and mainte-

nance stages.

Foreign Currency Assistance Projects –

Services to

the defense establishment, managing FMSprojects

with the U.S. Corps of Engineers (C.O.E.).

Green Construction and Protecting the

Environment

Poran Shrem’s project managers are authorized to

support Israel standard 5281 green building proj-

ects, some of which are due to certified by the 5281

Israeli standard or the U.S.A LEED standard.

management engineers, technicians, appraisers,

administrative and computer staff. Integrating vari-

ous professionals creates synergy, allowing the com-
