Prion Architects headed by Alex Prion,
is one of the leading architects in Is-
rael, and specializes in the planning
of commercial centers, supermarkets and chain
stores. A. Prion has over 30 years of experience
in the planning and handling of the marketing
chains’ needs.
The firm was established in 1974 by the archi-
tect Alex Prion, with the vision to become the
leading architects firm in Israel for the planning
and designing supermarkets and commercial
centers. In 2006 the “a.b.s.p.” architects firm
was founded in order to render unique architec-
ture services to additional customers.
The firm provides its customers a combined
planning solution, both in the structure plan-
ning stage of the commercial center and the
interior planning design of supermarkets and
stores, paying special attention to the place’s
functionality and the working scope required
for the project. The uniqueness of the firm is
focuses on its being a one stop shop for super-
markets, coordinating solutions and planning
accompaniment, starting the decision on land
acquisition up to obtaining a business license.
Another unique activity of the firm is provid-
ing service for its customers over many years of
operation due to variable requirements of the
authorities, following mergers and acquisitions
of marketing chains and applying changes to
their marketing concepts.

thousands of projects countrywide, enables

consultancy and accompaniment of local au-

thousands of housing units mainly for public
companies such as Housing & Development for
Israel Ltd., Lod and Ramla Development Com-
pany, Azorim, Elram, etc. The firm also dealt
for many years in residential neighborhoods
renovation, among others renovated the Jew-
ish Orthodox area of Neve Sharet in Tel Aviv
and expanded 250 existing apartments in the
neighborhood.

• Power Center at Ad Halom Junction – Planned
for A. Fishman. A project extending over 30,000
sq.m. including stores, a supermarket and a
gas station.
• Naimi Towers in Beit Shemesh – A commercial
center including 3 office buildings on an total
area of 40,000 sq.m.
• Commercial center in Petah Tikva – Chen Lipin
Center in Em Hamoshavot neighborhood in Pe-
tah Tikva on 6,000 sq.m., including commerce
and clinics.
• Commercial center in Petah Tikva – A commer-
cial center in Gallis Street at Segula Industrial
Zone in Petah Tikva – A 15,000 sq.m. commer-
cial center.
• Commercial center near Ashkelon – A commer-
cial center of 6,500 planned for Shlomo
Sixt at Moshav Bat Hadar, in front of Ashkelon.
In the area of planning of plants, warehous-
es and logistic centers:
• Logistic and offices center of Tuboul Construc-
tion Materials in Modiin, in cooperation with I.
Rosenstock’s office.
In the area of supermarket planning for food
chains:
The firm planned a considerable part of the
supermarkets operating in Israel, working with
most marketing chains.

• Shufersal – The majority of the chain’s stores
such as Yachin Center, Segula, Petah Tikva, Big
Compound in Eilat, Big Poleg Compound in
Netanya, Cinema City Compound in Glilot, Ikea
North Compound in Kiryat Ata.
• Blue Square – Part of the chain’s stores such
as Big Compound in Be’er-Sheva, Ir YamimMall
in Netanya, Ramot Mall in Modiin.
• COOP Israel – Part of the chain’s stores such
as Ma’ale Edomim mall, in Afula.
• Kimat Hinam– Most stores of the chain such as
Petah Tikva, Ma’alot, Haifa, Arad, Beit She’an.
• Bitan Wines – The flag store in Ashkelon,
stores in Rishon L’ezion and in Holon.
• Machsaney Hashuk – Building the flag store
in Beer Sheva, and more stores in Be’er-Sheva,
Ofakim and Lehavim.
• Rami Levy Hashikma Marketing – Most stores
of the chain, such as Netanya, Pardess Hana,
Afula, Tiberias, Acre, Be’er-Sheva, etc.
• Osher Ad – All the stores of the chain, such as
Bnei Brak, Kiryat Bialik, Migdal Ha’emek, Ash-
dod, Kanot, Be’er-Sheva, etc.
