Materials Ltd., part of the A.Z. Group, is
a unique company supplying a range of
technologies and construction solutions, starting
at the foundations to completion in all areas of

ed over the past year and includes Larisplast, spe-
cializing in concrete additives and admixtures,

1988, A.Z. Marketingmanufactures, develops and
distributes the most advanced waterproofing so-
lutions to the Israeli construction industry in order
tomake it more efficient. A.Z. Marketing promotes
values of knowledge, professionalism, and inno-
vation as well as, attentiveness to customers and
excellent service. A.Z. Marketing investsmajor ef-
forts to instill these values and promote its vision
of “being part of every building in Israel”.
From Self Production to Global Cooperation
Initially, A.Z. Marketing focused on the distribu-
tion andmarketing of waterproofingmaterials. As
business increased, it began producing its own
line of products under the name Sapir. Striving
to expand the range of solutions for construction
and introduce the latest international technolo-
gies, A.Z. Marketing began cooperating with lead-
ing overseas companies. The first such company
was PCI Germany and today A.Z. Marketing is
the sole representative in Israel of other interna-
tional companies producing premium products
such as Kerakoll, MC Bauchemie, Pluvitec, Rem-
mers, FIP, Natural NC Cement, Yuhong, Striling
Lloyd and more. A.Z. Marketing, a member of the
Israeli Green Building Council, manufactures and
imports materials with international LEED green
certification such as Kerakoll, one of the world’s
most environmentally friendly companies. To pro-
vide the broadest range of solutions, A.Z. Market-
ing invests major resources in searching for the
latest needs in Israeli construction industry and
providing themwith innovative technological so-
lutions. The company has its own R&D department
identifying local market needs and international
technologies, and instilling them appropriately
in Israeli construction. The company always has
its finger on the pulse, participates in overseas
exhibitions, keeps daily contacts in the field and
in every project, and keeps up with construction
innovations. The company has the ability to com-
prehensively examine every building and project
and provide themost exact alternative solutions.
Customers include companies, real estate devel-
opers, consultancy and supervision companies,
building, waterproofing and infrastructure contrac-
tors, government ministries including the Defense
Ministry, Israel Airports Authority, Ports Authority,
Israel Railways, Israel Electric, Mekorot, andmany
others. A.Z. Marketing specializes in developing
and importing a broad spectrum of products in-
cluding: adhesives and coatings; epoxies; bitu-
menwaterproofingmaterials, sprays and spreads;
concrete and mortar for repairs and renovations;
injection technologies; cement basedwaterproof-
ing materials; joints fillers; bitumen sheets for
buildings and infrastructures; HDPE sheets; wet
room waterproofing systems, swimming pools
and reservoirs. The company’s annual turnover
exceeds NIS 100 million.
National Projects
A.Z. Marketing takes great pride in the use of
its materials in major national projects, such as
the new Ben Gurion airport runway and control
tower, the new railway to Jerusalem (bridges and
tunnels), renovating Mekorot’s water carrier and
chlorine installation, renovating Tel Aviv port
complex, the new Timna international airport,
rebuilding bridges on the Tel Aviv-Haifa railway,
Israel Air Force tower and unique DefenseMinistry
projects.
Not Compromising on Professionalism
Professionalism is a value rooted deeply in A.Z.
Marketing. To maintain this value, the company
invests a great deal of resources, including in-
struction, professional training, and enrichment
courses for employees and loyal customers. A.Z.
Marketing conducts practical trainings and open
workshops at project sites, conducts seminars on
insulation, building renovation and technologies,
and seminars on specific subjects for consultants,

leaders. Lecturers at these conferences include

include guest lectures by professionals, such
as waterproofing and construction contractors,
working in factories to gain a deeper and closer

many projects. The company’s technical staff sup-
ports project managers and contractors through-
out projects, guiding and advising professionals
on correct, professional application of products to
reduce errors that may develop to building defects
and failure costingmillions to repair. Special train-
ing is given in partner factories abroad to comple-
ment the company’s training in Israel.
The Future
The cost of waterproofing a structure is relatively
low compared to the cost of the entire project,
even so construction companies try to save on
this expense. The price of this saving is quickly
translated to very heavy damages in terms of
money and reputation. A.Z. Marketing sets out
to reduce waterproofing defects in buildings and
prevent lawsuits fromsubstandard application by
increasing awareness of professional waterproof-
