The firm’s corporate practice ranges from the

one of Israel’s most respected mergers and ac-
quisitions practice and the firm has represented
acquirers and targets in Israel’s largest M&A
transactions. The firm also represents private
equity funds and VCs in all of their activities from
fund formation to representing the funds in all
their investment transactions. The firm’s clients
include Fortune 500 corporations and leading
IT companies ranging from software houses to
telecom hardware manufacturers to chip manu-

Insurance & Litigation
Naschitz Brandes Amir regularly represents the
leading Israeli and international insurance and
reinsurance companies – advising on commer-
cial and regulatory issues, and representing
these companies in litigation and subrogation
matters. The firm is involved in the largest fire,
casualty and property cases, including all sig-
nificant Israeli tobacco litigation and environ-
mental claims, and has been recognized as the
market leader in these areas. Of special interest
is the firm’s recent involvement in $100 million
fire claims, NIS 7 billion tobacco litigation and
claims by over 150 ex-soldiers and fishermen for
contracting cancer as a result of a polluted river.
Following the new law on class actions, Naschitz
Brandes Amir represents banks, financial and
individual institutions in this fast growing trend.
A senior partner of the firm is the President of
the Israeli section of AIDA, the International In-
surance Law Association and the Israel Maritime
Law Association, and he represents the Israel
Bar on the consultative committee for the reform
of the Law for the Compensation of Road Acci-
dent Victims. In addition, for the past 40 years,
Naschitz Brandes Amir has been one of the lead-
ing maritime law firms in Israel. With a network

Real Estate, Receivership & Banking
The firm’s real estate team handles large and
complex commercial and residential projects
throughout Israel, and real estate transactions

taxes and administration, as well as planning
and construction law – from change of use appli-
cations through the planning and construction
