D ivon & Co. Law Offices, managed by
Edo Divon, specializes in family and
divorce law as well as estate litiga-
tion. Divon & Co. lawyers represent Israeli and

Edo Divon
Founder and manager of the firm, he has been
practicing as a lawyer since 1979. Edo Divon has
an LL.B. and LL.M. from Tel Aviv University, both
cum laude. As one of the most senior lawyers
of the family bar in Israel, Edo Divon is well-
respected by Judges as well as his colleagues.
He is very innovative and has many precedent
cases attributed to him. Many of these decisions
have been handed down by the Supreme Court
of Israel. Several of these decisions are taught
in various law schools in Israel.
Edo Divon has vast experience in estate litiga-
tion as well. Given the nature of estate litiga-
tion where it is common that there is little or no
evidence to be found, legal creativity is required
and that is Edo Divon’s forte. His vast knowl-
edge of the law, combined with his experience
and his sense of innovation have resulted in
favorable rulings in cases which at the outset
appeared hopeless. This ability to be creative
has earned him the esteem of both the courts
and his colleagues.
During his service to the public, which has con-
tinued for more than 30 years, Edo Divon has
represented hundreds of satisfied clients who
include celebrities, government and military fig-
ures, judges and lawyers. As befits someone
with his status as a senior member of the Family
Law Bar in Israel, Edo Divon also serves as a
disciplinary judge on the National Court of Ap-
peals of the Israel Bar Association. In addition,
he has held various positions in the Israel Bar
Association including being a member of the
Courts Committee and the Rabbinical Courts
Committee.

Adv. Harvey Weinberg
Adv. Harvey Weinberg was admitted to the Bar
in Ontario, Canada in 1982 and practiced fam-
ily law litigation in the city of Toronto with the
prestigious litigation firm of Teplitsky, Colson.
Harvey immigrated to Israel in 1985 and became
a member of the Israeli Bar in 1986. It was in
1986 that Harvey joined Divon & Co. Since then
Harvey and Edo have worked together on many
complex cases, such as a parent kidnapping
his child in South Africa and bringing him to
Israel, a son kidnapping his elderly father from
abroad and bringing him to Israel, complex land
disputes between relatives who live in Israel and
abroad, etc. Harvey’s familiarity with the legal
system in North America coupled with Edo’s
experience and capabilities have successfully
served many clients on several continents dur-
ing the past 25 years.
Adv. Weinberg is one of the few lawyers in Israel
who is licensed to practice law both in Israel and
the Province of Ontario, Canada. In this capacity
he is often called upon to provide the Courts
in Israel with legal opinions on Canadian law.
In addition he frequently travels the Tel Aviv-
Toronto route enabling him to serve his clients
in Israel or Canada.
