Achievements

1. Family Court Appeal 1279/07 Party A v Party

B –

Regarding an unequal division according to

clause 8 of the Law for Property Relations Be-

tween Couples. A precedent for Sidi for the ben-

efit of the weaker economic party regarding an

unequal division of property accumulated during

the marriage.

2. Supreme Court File 2123/08 –

A precedent

for Sidi; a Jewish man and foreign resident was

detained in Israel until he finally agreed to grant

his wife a divorce, which he had initially made

dependent on division of their joint property.

3. Family file 030541/04 –

vor of Adv. Sidi and precedent ruling which has

since guided the ruling of courts on when the

judge will grant joint custody to the mother and

the father.

4. Family file 60266-01-13 –

A case in which a

trustee was appointed, at the request of Adv. Sidi,

before the balance of resources, fearing evasion.

The court ordered the husband to transfer prop-

erty registered under his name, which was not

ruled yet as joint property, to the trustee. Later on,

the spouses’ shares and real estate asset, that

were purchased after the dispute, were expro-

priated from the couple to the trustee, once the

concern for a smuggle of assets by the husband

was established.

5. Family file 2304-02-15 –

A case in which an ur-

gent habeas corpus request regarding a 16 years

old minor that returned to Israel was cancelled,

despite a verdict of the District Court determin-

ing that he should immigrate together with his

mother, until an expert’s examination, and the

minor was even referred to educational institu-

tions in Israel. At the end of the day, the family

Court in fact ruled that the custody of the minor

should be granted to his father..

6. Family File 6574-02-16 –

The Rabbinical

Court’s decision that it in fact has the authority

to discuss minor’s child support, and the court’s

ruling respecting this decision.

7. Family File 18278-12-15 –

The verdict for tem-

porary child support, determining that a reduction

of the amount is in order for theminor, since there

is a secondminor residing with him, even though

they are not from the same father, the accused.
