E LTASystems Ltd., a group and subsidiary
of Israel Aerospace Industries, is one
of Israel’s leading defense electronics

telligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and
Reconnaissance (ISTAR), EarlyWarning and Con-
trol, Homeland Security (HLS), Self-Protection
and Self-Defense, and Fire Control applications.
ELTA offers comprehensive solutions, primarily
based on in-house developed advanced elec-
tromagnetic sensors including Radar, Electronic
Warfare and Communication Systems. As the
Original Equipment Manufacturer of these sen-
sors, ELTA’s integrated products and systems
are tailored to the specific requirements of end
users, thereby creating a competitive advantage
over leading international defense firms. Based
on its advanced defense technologies, ELTA is
also active in paramilitary and law enforcement
markets. ELTA has a variety of unique technologi-
cal excellence centers, state of the art facilities
and national infrastructures. ELTA operates a
worldwide marketing network, customer service
and after-sales support activities.
The ELTA Group Includes Five Divisions:
Misgav Factory for Land & Naval Radars and
Systems Division
Israel’s national Land & Naval Radar House is
a design, development and production center
for advanced Land and Naval systems based
on radar sensors and on other advanced
technologies.
The division’s systems are designed for Intel-
ligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Air
& Missile Defense, Force Protection, Target Ac-
quisition and Fire Control Applications.
The Land & Naval Radars and Systems Division
also offers Homeland Security and Defense
solutions for applications such as Ground and
Coastal Border Protection, Exclusive Economic
Zone (EEZ) Protection, and Critical Infrastructure
Protection.
Marom Factory for Airborne Systems and Radars
Division
Israel’s national Airborne Radar House and a
design, development and production center for
advanced airborne systems based on radar sen-
sors and other advanced technologies.
The division’s systems are designed for
Airborne Early Warning, Imagery Intelli-
gence, ISR (Intelligence Surveillance and
Reconnaissance), Persistent Surveillance,
Air-to-Surface Support, Self Defense, Target
Acquisition and Fire Control Applications.
Among the Airborne Systems and Radars Divi-
sion products are a variety of Special Mission
Aircraft such as Airborne Early Warning & Con-
trol Aircraft, Maritime Patrol Aircraft, and Air-to-
Ground Support Aircraft.
SIGINT, EW & Communication Division
Design, development and production center
for advanced SIGINT, EW and Communication
systems based on electromagnetic sensors and
other advanced technologies. ELTA SIGINT, EW&
Communication Division systems are designed
for Signal Intelligence (SIGINT = ELINT & COM-
INT), Self-Defense, Electronic Warfare and Com-
munication applications that include advanced
Data Links and SATCOM, Cellular Communica-
tion Networks and Special Mission Signal Intel-
ligence Aircraft.
Technologies Factory
The ELTA Technologies Factory develops cutting-
edge core technologies, providing ELTA with
independent capabilities to provide critical su-
per components and subsystems for applica-
tions required by ELTA’s products, such as VLSI
design, digital boards miniaturization, signal
processors and Special Automatic Test Equip-
ment. ELTA’s Technologies Factory includes
unique technological excellence centers which
are considered as national infrastructures.
Integrated Microwave Systems Division
The ELTA Microwave Division develops cutting
edge core technologies, providing ELTA with
independent capabilities to supply critical su-
per components and subsystems for diverse
applications, such as miniaturized integrated
microwave modules, TR modules, TWTs , anten-
nas and transmitters.
ELTA’s Integrated Microwave Systems Divi-
sion includes unique technological excellence
centers which are considered as national
infrastructures.
Sales and Backlog – End of 2015
Sales in 2015 reached US$ 1,103.7 million, of
which about 83.5%were exported to the armed
forces of more than 65 countries worldwide and
the rest were sold to the domestic market, where
ELTA is a major supplier to the IDF. Profit before
tax reached US$ 74.5 million. A backlog of US$
2,235 million covers on average 24 months of
work.
Business Development
ELTA Group includes holdings in subsidiaries

Europe, North and South America and the Far
East. ELTA Systems has teamed with numerous
defense companies around the world.
