LOOK
LOOK is a small wearable device which
attaches easily to glasses and helps you
locate your glasses using Bluetooth tech-
nology, which sends a signal directly to a LOOK
mobile application on your smartphone.
LOOK is the first practical tracking device made
specifically for eye-glasses. It is small, light,
and fits easily onto your glasses with reusable
sticking tape, enabling easy removal. LOOK is
smaller than any other tracking device and has
its own advanced technology receiver. LOOK in-
cludes a replaceable battery tray. It is operated
by a smartphone locator application, using an
alarm indicator. LOOK is easy to use and can be
worn on either side of the temple. The device
is lightweight and interchangeable. LOOK uses
BLE – Bluetooth low energy, as well as two type
399 batteries.
People who need glasses know that not hav-
ing them is like being temporarily blind, yet
people waste so much time looking for their
glasses. The average person misplaces up to
nine objects every day, and glasses are one of
the top misplaced items. Our complex sched-
ules make keeping track of our things a complex
task. That’s why we invented LOOK.
As people purchase expensive pairs of sun-
glasses, only to misplace them soon after, LOOK
is designed to fit perfectly on your glasses.
Nearly 75% of the population wears some sort
of vision corrective lenses.
Whether the glasses are used throughout the
day, for reading, or are just a favorite pair of
sunglasses - we invested a lot into being able
to see properly.
The average person spends 16 minutes per day
looking for misplaces items. That’s nearly 100
hours per year. But of course, we spend much
more than that.
LOOK helps finding glasses in seconds, nev-
er having to waste time searching for them
again.
It is easy to set up: Simply attach LOOK to
your glasses. The device can be worn on the
inside or outside of the frames, and no wiring
is required.
Meet the Team
Dafna Ariely, Founder & CEO
Dafna came up with the idea for LOOK one day
after she couldn’t find her reading glasses. After
hours of searching and involving the whole fam-
ily, she finally found them underneath the sofa.
She decided then that if she had something to
help her find her glasses, she would never have
to repeat this utterly frustrating experience. Her
goal is to help people not waste time looking
for things, so they can invest their time in more
important activities.
Shmuel Gan, CTO
If Dafna is the heart and soul of LOOK, Shmuel
is the mind behind the design. An electric
engineer with years of experience in devel-
oping electronic chips and devices, Shmuel
has founded and managed various software
and hardware projects for a number of hi-tech
companies throughout Israel. He also holds
an MBA from The Technion (Israel Institute of
Technology) with an emphasis in industrial
Management.
