Practice Areas
Labor Law & Labor Relations: Asher Heled &
Co. specializes in all aspects of collective and
personal labor law and labor relations, handling
individual and large collective work disputes,
providing legal opinions on labor law and daily
counsel. The firm’s partners have major expe-
rience in managing and leading negotiations
of all types, including personal and collective
bargaining and talks with government and
public bodies. The firm also has vast experi-
ence in drafting collective labor and personal
agreements including employment, termination-
of-employment and retirement agreements,
non-competition and secrecy covenants, regu-
lations, procedures, etc.
Asher Heled & Co. has unique experience and
expertise supporting major organizations in
major deals and structural changes, and due
diligence for employment arrangements after
M&As, liquidations, receiverships, company
recoveries, public offerings, outsourcing, etc.
Asher Heled & Co. supports legal planning,
establishing and organizing manpower infra-
structures for organizations in the aforemen-
tioned procedures and provides legal advice on
the results of these proceedings in labor law,
including hiring, firing, pension plans, employee

Pension Funds & Arrangements: Asher Heled
& Co. provides a range of services regarding
pension and provident funds, and retirement
arrangements, including forming legal opinions,
creating employee and executive insurance and
pension plans, and routine legal counsel.
Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution
(ADR): Asher Heled & Co. has major litigation
experience, and staff includes seasoned attor-
neys appearing before Labor Courts, and other
tribunals and courts, including the Supreme
Court. The firm has won precedent-setting cases
in some of the most complex and important la-
bor law and pension disputes, and has major
experience in arbitration and ADR.
Leading Lawyers
Four partners lead Asher Heled & Co.:
Asher Heled, Founder and Managing Partner
and Notary is a Hebrew University law faculty
graduate. He is recognized as a leading expert
in labor and pension laws, and is among Israel’s
most prominent authorities in those areas. With
over 40 years of experience, he has handled
some of the main proceedings in labor law and
collective labor disputes and collective talks
over pension plans, including several of the
most important and fundamental cases in which
the Supreme Court and the National Labor Court
set new precedents.
Asher Heled serves as the chairman of the
managing committee of Ben Gurion University
in Beer Sheva and is a member of its board of
trustees.
Elisha Shor, Senior Partner, is a Bar Ilan Uni-
versity law faculty graduate. He has over 30
years of experience and expertise in labor law,
pensions, and provident funds, and is one of
Israel’s leading experts in those areas. He has
extensive experience in managing major litiga-
tion matters.
Michal Levanon-Porat, Partner, is a Hebrew Uni-
versity law faculty graduate with an LL.M. from
Tel Aviv University law faculty. She has exten-
sive experience in handling complex litigation
matters, counseling and representation of large
companies and senior corporate executives as
well as in collective labor disputes and collec-
tive negotiations.
Yaron Lestrel, Partner, is a Hebrew University
law faculty graduate with extensive experience
in handling complex litigation matters. He
consults and represent’s pension funds, large
companies and senior corporate executives,
worker’s and worker’s organizations.
Contribution to the Community
Contribution to the community is an integral
part of Asher Heled & Co.’s culture, reflected in
membership in public organizations, and pro
bono representation of those harmed by labor
law who cannot afford legal representation.
Since 2010, Asher Heled & Co. adopted “One In
Nine”, and provides voluntary advice and rep-
resentation to breast cancer patients. In 2011,
The firm was awarded “The Loyalty to Patients’
Rights Certificate” for these activities.
During 2015 our firm began volunteering with
‘Open Door’ foundation for family planning, in
providing consultation and treating all labor
laws and social security matters, involving the
foundation and their employees.
