Automotive Equipment Group
A utomotive Equipment Group is one of Is-
rael’s leading vehicle groups. The Group
imports and distributes passenger, lux-
ury and sports cars, SUVs, buses and trucks, fork-
lift trucks, agricultural machinery, and earthmoving
equipment. The group also operates an insurance
and vehicle-financing agency and is a partner in a
public transport company that operates bus lines.
The Group was established in 1949 by the late
J.C. Boxenbaum.
In 2005, the commercial activities of the company
were transferred to Automotive Equipment and
Vehicles (2004) Ltd. owned by the Neta (formerly
Boxenbaum) family and the Boxenbaum-Neta
Charity Foundation.
In 2015 Group sales totaled NIS 2.23 billion, and
14,000 units were sold.
Vehicle and Transportation Activities
Suzuki, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge: Importing,
marketing and servicing cars.
Porsche: Importing, marketing and servicing
Porsche sports cars, off-the-road luxury vehicles
and supplying spare parts.
Bridgestone and Firestone the largest tire manu-
facturer in the world: Importing and distributing
tires for passenger cars, trucks, buses, motor-
cycles, heavy equipment and dirt Equipment.
Forklift Trucks: Importing, marketing and servic-
ing Yale, Diesel and Electrcity.
KUBOTA: Importing, marketing and servicing agri-
cultural machinery and tractors from Kubota Japan.
ConstructionEquipment: Importing,marketingand
servicing loaders, excavators, bulldozers and earth
moving trucks, manufactured by Liugong China.
Trucks: Importing, marketing and servicing MAN
trucks and buses from Germany.
Fleet Management and Vehicle Maintenance
Service: The company provides comprehensive
maintenance and management services for car
fleets and large companies.
Caspa Leasing Ltd.: The company’s leasing arm
carries out operational leasing transactions.
Metiv: With more than 14,000 customers, Metiv
is an insurance agency specializing in vehicle
insurance.
Automotive Industries Ltd.: In 1966, “Automo-
tive Industries Upper Nazareth” was founded, the
company assembles trucks and military vehicles
of various types for the IDF and export. The com-
pany hasmanufactured and assembledmore than
90,000 vehicles, to date. The company alsomanu-
factures and imports trailers and environmental
products.
Public Transport: Automotive Equipment is a part-
ner in Metropoline and Metrodan bus companies
operating a fleet of about 650 buses in the center
and south of Israel.
Countrywide Service
The Group operates 7 service centers in Rishon
Lezion, Petach Tikva, Jerusalem and Haifa and a
logistics complex in Re’em Industrial Zone near
Ashdod Port.
The company has 10 showrooms in major cit-
ies. The Group also sells its cars through 22
authorized Suzuki dealerships and 4 authorized
Chrysler dealerships, and services them through
a network of 43 authorized workshops, 19 bus
and truck workshops and 5 garages under its
ownership. Tires are offered at over 200 tire ser-
vice points.
The Group is a long-time supplier to the Govern-
ment of Israel and the Ministry of Defense, and
sells to the largest companies in all the business
sectors of the Israeli economy.
