BRH Medical Ltd.
B
RH Medical Ltd. develops, manufac-
tures and markets advanced medi-
cal devices and solutions for chronic
wounds care. The BRH-A2 System implements
a clinically proven, patented technology that
combines therapeutic ultrasound and electrical
fields to treat chronic wounds.
BRH-A2 Wound Healing System
The BRH technology facilitates the healing of
deep chronic ulcers such as diabetic sores and
decubitus ulcers by engaging and stimulating
the wounded region from below the wound bed,
thus encouraging increased blood circulation to
the wound and enabling the body to heal the
wound more easily.
The system includes an ultrasound apparatus
configured to transmit ultrasound different
waves at specific frequencies and intensities to
the wounded region of the body. The ultrasound
system works simultaneous with 4 electrodes
for providing Interferential Electric Fields (IFT)
to the tissues and muscles that lie in the region
of, and below the wounded region.
This combination (ultrasound + electric fields)
varied over the course of the treatment (fre-
quency + intensity) causes mechanical move-
ment below the wound bed and encourages
increased blood circulation in the wounded
region.
The BRH System is the only one of its kind to
include an advanced database for patient man-
agement, together with a digital documentation
platform.
The chronic wound care market is a fragmented
one, comprising of various treatments, rather
than one leading solution. BRH Medical be-
lieves the BRH-A2 Systemmay become the gold
standard for the treatment of chronic wounds.
BRH Medical is privately held and was founded
in 2010 by Mr. Ilan Feferberg, the company’s
CTO, a graduate of the elite 8200 Israeli Intel-
ligence Corp. The dynamic start-up, inspired by
Mr. Feferberg’s passion for innovative technolo-
gies, is guided by strict codes of responsible
medicine, while developing high performance
products for excellent results.
After
experiencing
the ravages of chronic
wounds in his family,
and spurred on by a de-
sire to relieve the pain
and distress of patients
suffering from the debili-
tating results of chronic
wounds, Mr. Feferberg
applied his advanced
understanding of these
fields to develop a novel
therapeutic technology
that combines both ther-
apeutic ultrasound and
electrostimulation.
BRH has been issued a patent both in the USA
and in China for its proprietary wound healing
technology and documentation system, and
other patents are pending worldwide
Wound Healing & Measuring Solutions
BRH-A2 Wound Healing System
Understanding that the expectations and de-
mands from physicians and the healthcare
system are greater than ever, BRH Medical be-
lieves in innovative software and data solutions
in order to maintain its quality, efficiency and
excellence.
The system features a universal interface, with
graphic icons for simple operation. All relevant
patient data is stored in a database, includ-
ing graphic location of the wound or wounds.
The BRH-A2 system includes high performance
digital documentation software which photo-
graphs and measures the ulcer size, despite
the difficulty due to loss of tissue around the
wound. The system then compares the results
and is able to show the progress of the healing
process and pain reduction through graphs that
can be exported as reports.
Clinically Proven To Accelerate Healing and
Reduce Pain
The BRH system has been clinically proven
in several clinical studies to reduce wound
pain, as well as accelerate wound healing. In
a recently published paper, it was shown that
after only 8 treatments, more than 50% of the
Diabetic Foot Ulcers responded positively and
resulted in wound closure.

In a multi-center study, the results showed that
almost 50% of all pressure ulcers were success-
fully closed by 20 weeks.

Regulatory and Quality Assurance
The Company has received CE Approval for mar-
keting in Europe, TGA for marketing in Australia,
and meets ISO 13485: 2004 for manufacturing.
The Company is expecting to receive FDA clear-
ance during 2017.
