High-Tech & Technology

Intuit Israel

I

ntuit was born out of innovation, in 1983,

when co-founder Scott Cook created a bet-

ter way to accomplish a common household

dilemma: balancing the family checkbook.

Fast forward 34 years, this spirit of innovation at

Intuit is stronger than ever. We are a customer-

focused, design-driven technology company. Our

flagship products – QuickBooks, TurboTax and

Mint – define our commitment to revolutionize

the way people manage their personal finances,

run small businesses and pay their employees.

Today, we are capitalizing on a world being

shaped by social, mobile and global trends. We

have redefined ourselves from a North Ameri-

can desktop software company, to a cloud-driven

product and platform company. We are evolving

for amobile world that enables the contributions

of others by creating network effects platforms

and enlisting developers to participate in add-

ing value to our products. We are leveraging

customer data to make our products easier to

use while delivering breakthrough benefits for

our customers.

Intuit has offices in eleven countries across five

continents. Fueled by a team of 7,900 employ-

ees, we are stretching our markets beyond our

traditional North American boundaries. We are

growing our presence in Europe, India, Australia

and South America, serving customers in over

180 countries.

We have improved the financial lives of more

than 45 million people, and our annual revenue

exceeds USD 4 billion. We are publicly traded

with the symbol INTU on the Nasdaq Stock Mar-

ket, and are regularly recognized as one of the

best places to work in our locations around the

world.

Intuit in Israel

Intuit is committed to growth and development

in Israel. The country is a hotbed of talent and

technology; a world leader in mobile, security

and machine learning innovations, precisely the

areas where we have the most interest.

In just a few years in Israel, Intuit has harnessed

a very strong foundation of talent and a suite of

technologies to help accelerate Intuit’s global

growth and transformation to a secure, cloud-

based company.

Intuit’s journey in Israel began in June 2014,

when wemerged with Check, amobile payments

app with over 10 million registered users. Then

in February 2015, we acquired the cloud security

startup, Porticor.

In 2016, Intuit continued to invest in talent. We

grew an additional 20% over the previous year,

to more than 100 employees at our site in Hod

HaSharon. We established the Intuit Israel Data

Sciences Team to help deliver new high-tech cus-

tomer benefits to Intuit’s ecosystem of products

and services. We also reaffirmed our commitment

to Israel by declaring the country as our chosen

location for Intuit’s next development center out-

side of North America.

“Our goal is to build a development center that is

a win-win for Intuit and Israel,” said Baat Enosh,

Head of Strategy and Operations at Intuit Israel.

“We both share deep appreciation for great tech

talent and innovation. Wonderful things will come

as we all work and learn from each other.”

As happens to be the case, there is already strong

evidence of what can be accomplished together.

Most recently, we have been able to enhance

one of Intuit’s flagship products with new bill

pay technology. Mint can now pull together data

from multiple sources into one actionable pic-

ture to solve a complete range of bill pay tasks.

Customers can manage and track their bills, and

make payments, without logging into multiple

accounts. This is a hugemilestone for Intuit. With

the help of our growing team in Israel, we have

successfully integrated new technologies into

Mint so that millions of customers will never miss

a bill.

A Great Place to Work

Our commitment to our employees has forged In-

tuit a reputation that goes well beyond our ability

to create industry-leading products. Intuit is rec-

ognized all over the world today as a best place

to workdue to our ongoing company-wide efforts

and investments in service to our employees.

In the U.S., you’ll find Intuit on Fortune’s Top 100

list, a position held, among the giants in tech, for

15 years! Intuit’s development center in India,

with over 1,000 employees, recently celebrated

a three-year reign in the Top 10 Great Places to

Work®. In other countries like Canada, the UK,

Australia and France, Intuit has collected similarly

impressive accolades.

Intuit’s commitment to its employees around the

world is exceptional. Creating an excellent place

to work is part of our daily cadence. Nowhere is

this more obvious today than at Intuit in Israel.

We are building a workplace of innovation in Is-

rael where all employees have the opportunity

and structure to bring their ideas to life. We are

maintaining Intuit’s Operating Values, the basis

fromwhich every employee feels welcomed, sup-

ported and encouraged to bring their whole self

to work. We are providing all employees world-

class resources, including an environment that

encourages collaboration, amenities that inspire

and recharge, and an industry-leading total re-

wards package.

“As the Intuit Israel team grows, it is hugely

important that we continue to make the right

moves on behalf of our employees,” said Micky

Csasznik-Shaked, Director of Development and

Site Manager for Intuit Israel. “I am so proud of

the talent we have here andwhat we’ve been able

to accomplish together in just a few short years. I

am evenmore excited for the future ahead as we

continue to prioritize our efforts in creating the

best possible experience for all our employees;

for those that are with us today, and for those

that will be with us tomorrow.”
