Z.F. Development and Construction was
founded in 1992 by construction engi-
neer Zvi Fox, a second generation build-
ing contractor, who has been working in the field
since 1977. The ownership of the company is
divided between Zvi Fox (75%) and CEO Ran Ya-
nai (25%).
Areas of Expertise
Private Houses
The company specializes in developing and
building private houses. The projects current-
ly under construction include 130 houses in
Leshem (a range of types), 200 housing units
in Nili, 96 housing units in Karnei Shomron, 60
housing units in Kokhav Yaakov, 170 housing
units in Efrat, 150 housing units in Kfar Vradim
and 98 housing units in Kiryat Arba.
Building Preservation
Z.F. Building Co. specializes in preserving
buildings, an area requiring the highest and
most unique professionalism and skillfulness.
Involvement in building preservation requires
perseverance, precision, and the ability to un-
dertake traditional rather than industrial work.
Preservation work includes the highest stan-
dard carpentry, drawn cornices, camshafts and
split level walls. So far the company has imple-
mented building preservation at 26 Ben Dussa
Street in Jaffa (a 19th century building), and in
Tel Aviv 90 Hayarkon Street, 11 Allenby Street
(a building with a rich architectural design),
20 HaKovshim Street (a building of impressive
quality), 44-46 Klisher Street, 33 Rashi Street,
and 14 Lillienblum Street.
Real Estate Development
In recent years, the company has been oper-
ating in the field of real estate development
throughout the country - Har Gilo – 70 luxury
housing units on six levels; Netanya (Kiryat Ha-
sharon) – an apartment building; Yerucham –
60 units on 10 lots; Nili – 200 semi-detached
houses on two floors; Karnei Shomron 96 units;
Efrat Givat Hatamar and Givat Hadagan 170
units, building the new village of Givot Eden,
developing and building 700 units; building
150 housing units in Kfar Vradim.
Public Buildings
The company has built and is building dozens
of public buildings in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and
throughout the country. The range of projects
implemented by the company in this broad
area includes schools, kindergartens, syna-
gogues, yeshivas, ulpans, clinics (Alia nursing
hospital for children), mikvas and buildings for
medical purposes.
Projects Under Construction in Tel Aviv
In addition to buildings for preservation in Tel
Aviv, the company has built a luxury residential
project at 50 Ben Yehuda Street in Tel Aviv, two
buildings including 20 apartments on Gershon
Shatz Street, a building with 20 apartments at
13 Ein Hakore Street, a building with 20 apart-
ments at 12 Akiva Eiger Street, a 50 apart-
ments building in 29 Alenbi street, a building
in 9 Levinski street, 2 buildings in 34-36 HaHa-
lutzim Street and 3 Yehuda Amichai Street.
Environment & Green Building
The company strives towards the highest qual-
ity standards of thermal insulation and sealing
in order to protect the environment. Most ex-
ternal facades are with quality Jerusalem stone
made to endure for years and create well insu-
lated homes and result in energy savings. In
the new village of Givot Edan the company will
build green building that will not harm the en-
vironment and blends into the surroundings.

The company owner Zvi Fox has been working for
many years as a volunteer for the Yedid organiza-
