Mishab Housing Construction & Development Co. Ltd.
M
ishab was established in 1936 by His-
tadrut Hapoel Hamizrahi (General Fed-
eration of Labor of Religious Jews) as
two contracting companies for the religious public.
These companies merged in 1960 to formMishab
and focus on providing housing solutions for the
religious public, adapted to their lifestyle. Today,
Mishab is a vigorous, determined development
company involved in developing dozens of new
projects providing advanced housing solutions to
the general public throughout Israel.
Despite its high contractor classification (G5),
Mishab only focuses on housing units and neigh-
borhoods and operates together with the best
contractors in Israel.
Tradition of Building for Excellence
Over the years, Mishab has built nearly one hun-
dred thousand homes, public buildings, and com-
mercial and business space around the country
including the Jerusalem Great Synagogue, Beit
Levenstein, Bar-Ilan University, Yad Lebanim, ho-
tels, exclusive hire-rise apartments, and houses
and gardens.
Mishab has the knowhow and equipment for suit-
able homes for the religious and their lifestyle
fromselecting lots close to religious schools, syna-
gogues, and ritual baths and including specifica-
tions such asSabbath elevators, sukka balconies,
double sinks, Sabbath timers, central garbage dis-
posal mechanisms etc.
Leading the Urban Renewal Revolution
Mishab was one of the first real estate companies
to identify the advantages, demand and potential
contained in urban renewal plans. Thus Mishab
leads many clear and build and TAMA 38 earth-
quake retrofit projects throughout Israel.
Mishab sees the tenant as themain asset in these
measures and is careful to provide principled, and
sensitive service to its customers with day-to-day
support throughout the process. This service in-
cludes an available and immediate response to
every request, protecting rights, and economic
backing that provides security and assistance.
Projects Underway
Central Heights, Givatayim –
Luxury residential
complex, part of a clear and build program, and one
of the last land reserves in the city. Locatedmidway
between the Diamond Exchange, Azrieli Center and
Namir Road. The project includes two residential
towers built with a partner with 576 units with full
landscaping, green gardens, cycle paths, and es-
pecially high standard specifications.
Habanim St., Ramat Gan –
On highly sought after
HabanimSt., the company is constructed two resi-
dential buildings as part of the TAMA 38 program
with 72 units adapted to the demands of local resi-
dents, rigorously planned and with a high level of
specification and finishing.
Tzmarot Kiryat Ono, Kiryat Ono –
A clear and build
project in the heart of old Kiryat Ono, a high de-
mand area with a low supply on new homes. The
lot includes five buildings with 236 units close to
educational institutions, shopping centers and
main traffic arteries.
Nahalim, Petah Tikvah –
The Nahalim neighbor-
hood in Hadar Ganim is one of the highest de-
mand areas in Central Israel and is designed for
the religious public. The neighborhood is close to
excellent schools, views, innovative architectural
development, and is centrally located. The com-
pany is building 303 housing units with Mishab’s
contemporary style and design.
Mishkenot ParkNetanya –
Over the years, Mishab
has built over 1,000 homes in Netanya’s Kiryat Ha-
sharon. The company holds land for building hun-
dreds more homes in the neighborhood. Mishab
is building a complex that will include 81 homes
of high specification and finishing standards, and
plans another 131 homes for the complex.
Bustanei Ravava Mishkanot Aharon, Ravava –
A
residential project with the Canaan Group for the
religious public in Ravava. The project includes
54 units.
Planned Projects
Ma’alot –
Mishab won the ILA tender to build 104
housing units in Ma’alot’s new Oranim neighbor-
hood, considered one of Israel’s most beautiful
developments. The project is set to receive permits
and work is expected to start in 2016.
Elkana –
Mishab won an ILA tender to build 96
housing units on a terraced lot in the city’s north.
The project is in initial planning stages and con-
struction should begin in early 2016.
Omrit –
Privately owned lands between Dimona
and Be’er Sheva, the Negev’s rapid development in
recent years, especially considering the transfer of
IDF infrastructure to the region. Mishab purchased
50 acres of private land planned for about 100
housing units of approximately 350 squaremeters
each. The settlement is in its early planning stages
and requires government approval. In addition, the
company has 100 additional acres of marketing to
the general public.
Neve Yehoshua, Ramat Gan –
A clear and build
project in which 330 new units will be built to re-
place the 96 existing units. The project is in the ad-
vanced planning stage prior to applying for permits.
100% of homeowners signed the agreement.
KiryatMoshe, Jerusalem–
A clear and build project
including 2 residential buildings and 130 newunits
to replace 32 units. The project is in the planning
stage and promoting the master plan in the re-
gional committee.
Ramat Amidar, Ramat Gan –
Clear and build project
for three 8-floor buildings above commercial space
on Etzel St., and two 15-floor towers on HaHermon
St. 203 units will be built to replace 48 units.
Urban Renewal Projects in Planning
196 Haraeh St. Ramat Gan (TAMA 38/2); Pinsker
St., Rishon Lezion (TAMA 38/2); Kugel Boulevard,
Holon (TAMA 38/1); Hess St., Herzliya (TAMA
38/1).
