ilead Sher and Co., Law Offices special-

ize in commercial and corporate law,

with extensive experience in complex

transactions and negotiation strategies, repre-

senting clients in the private and public sectors.

The firm’s team is available at all times to person-

ally advise its clients in Israel and abroad, placing

serious and comprehensive emphasis on the cli-

ent’s entire spectrum of needs. The Firm’s lawyers

provide widespread knowledge in the areas of

business administration, public policy, commer-

cial and corporate law, real estate, international

transactions, hi-tech and bio-tech, planning and

zoning, project financing, labor law, intellectual

property and litigation, including arbitration and

mediation. The firm employs 12 lawyers, 5 of

which are partners, and has its main office in Tel

Aviv in the Azrieli Towers and another branch in

Nazareth, providing personal involvement and

uncompromising professionalism. Attorney Sher,

the head of the firm, specializes in international,

business and political negotiations, commercial

law, project financing, constitutional and ad-

ministrative law and litigation in these fields,

as well as conflict resolution. Attorney Sher was

the Head of the Prime Minister’s Bureau during

Ehud Barak’s term, headed the negotiating team

with the Palestinians in 1999-2001 including in

the Sharm-El-Sheikh Agreement, the Camp David

summit and the Taba Talks and was a member

of the delegation to the Interim Agreement nego-

tiations under the Rabin Government. Attorney

Sher is active in the political-security field and

in promoting regional peace.

Areas of Expertise

Corporate –

The firm regularly provides corporate

and business advice to corporations, sharehold-

ers and executives in connection with all stages

of corporate evolution and with respect to diverse

forms of investment and related transactions,

from the early stages of incorporation to more

mature and complex transactions. It guides its cli-

ents through the challenges they encounter along

the way, including in connection with events such

as IPOs, Mergers and Acquisitions, joint ventures,

IP transfers and raising capital.

Real Estate –

The firm provides ongoing counsel-

ing in connection with commercial and residential

real estate, representing developers, contractors,

construction companies, investors and tenants

in many projects. The firm handles issues aris-

ing from land use and zoning ordinances, title

searches and registrations, syndications and

foreign investments.

Tenders and Project Financing –

For almost two

decades, the firmhas accompanied the Jerusalem

transportation master plan team, dealing with

tenders in a wide range of fields, including the

tender for the international concessionaire of the

Jerusalem light rail.

Commercial Litigation –

The firm was and still is

involved in some of the foremost litigation cases

in Israel, including representing the State inmulti-

million dollar mutual claims with the concession-

aire of the light rail; KKL (Jewish National Fund)

in claims of tens of millions of NIS to rehabilitate

fire damages caused in the course of violent re-

gional conflicts; a large construction company in

arbitration exceeding NIS 100 million, as well as

governmental entities in class action lawsuits.

Labor Law –

The firm provides ongoing counsel

to employers, employees, corporations and labor

unions. The firm was involved in several prec-

edents and in managing private and collective

disputes. The firm is also involved in the reform

of the Israeli Broadcast Authority.

Administrative-Constitutional Law –

The firm rep-

resents individuals, organizations and entities

in the High Court of Justice and in administrative

petitions, including constitutional, regulatory and

standardization procedures.

Arbitration and Mediation –

The firm represents

its clients not only in the judicial and adminis-

trative forums, but also in alternative dispute

resolution processes, such as arbitration and

mediation.

Attorney Sher authored the book “The Israeli-Pal-

estinian Peace Negotiations, 1999-2001: Within

Reach”, published by Routledge in 2006. Co-ed-

ited the book “Negotiating in Times of Conflict”

(with Dr. Anat Kurz), published by INSS, Tel Aviv

2015. Authored the book “The Battle for Home”,

published by Yediot Ahronot - Hemed Books, Tel

Aviv 2016. Co-editor of the book “Spoilers and

Coping with Spoilers in the Arab-Israeli Conflict”

(with Prof. Galia Golan), due in 2017.

Special Activities

During Fall Semester 2016, Attorney Sher will be a

guest lecturer at Harvard LawSchool. In the past,

Attorney Sher was a guest lecturer at the Whar-

ton School of the University of Pennsylvania and

a visiting professor in public policy and conflict

resolution in the MA program at Tel Aviv Univer-

sity. Attorney Sher heads the INSS center for ap-

plied negotiations (CAN) and serves as chairman

of the executive board and the board of trustees

of Sapir Academic College.
