lished in 1958 by the Late Haim J. Zadok,

who served as a senior minister in the

Israeli government. For over 50 years, the firm

has handled a range of business, commercial and

Main Practice Areas

Commercial and Business Law:

The firm has rich

experience in providing day-to-day legal support

including sales, mergers and investments deals

in the “old economy,” and high-tech, biotech and

real estate. Clients include large leading corpora-

tions including international corporations. The firm

and provides routine legal consultancy and support

to vehicle importers and regarding import and dis-

Insolvency, Liquidation, Company Recovery and

Debt Settlements:

The firm is highly experience in

complex insolvency cases and has been actively

involved in the main liquidations, receiverships

and rehabilitation procedures in Israel’s economy.

The firmalso supports companies in crisis, advises

themon strategies with creditors, supports poten-

tial buyers of insolvent businesses or substantive

creditors’ in creditors settlements and liquida-

tions. The firm’s lawyers are court appointed as

executive holders (liquidations, receiverships and

trustees). The firm also has extensive experience

and knowledge in debt settlements and represent

and advise companies in debt settlements vis-à-vis

bondholders.

Corporations & Startups:

The firm provides legal

consultancy to themanagement of Israel’s leading

companies and advises and supports directors and

executive holders in protecting them frompersonal

claims and helps guide directors on proper cor-

porate governance. The firm supports companies

in merger and spin-off deals, offers to purchase,

provides routine consultancy on companies law,

securities law, control agreements, senior execu-

tive employment agreements, options plans, work

agreements etc. Clients include leading entities in

Israel and abroad including TASE-traded compa-

Litigation and Dispute Resolution:

Complex com-

mercial litigation in all courts including arbitrations

and appeals is a main area of the firm’s activity.

The core involvement is in complex cases requir-

ing unique skills and extensive legal knowhow

in all branches of civil law. The firm is engaged

in cases regarding disputes between partners or

shareholders, protecting office holders and senior

executives, franchises and agencies, suppliers-

distributors relations, and labor law disputes. The

Real Estate, Planning and Construction, and Urban

Renewal:

The firm provides legal consultancy in

all areas of real estate including promotion, plan-

ning and construction, development, contractors’

agreements, buyers groups, urban renewal, vari-

ous transaction agreements, income-producing

properties, etc. Headed by Senior Partner Dror

Boulkind, the Dept’ experienced lawyers provide

legal services to real estate developers, contrac-

tors, local authorities, builders association, project

licensees, buyers groups, urban renewal project

Administrative Law:

The firm has handled admin-

istrative law and advises local authorities, political

parties, sports centers, NPOs and public figures

and represents corporations and individuals in-

cluding vehicle importers and the Motor Vehicle

Licensing Association regarding the regulator and

other administrative authorities. As an integral part

of handling and service, the firmprovides ongoing

opinions in administrative law and representation

in administrative petitions, on tenders, planning

and construction, and precedential issues.

Local Authorities:

The firm has experience and

knowledge in consultancy and representation re-

garding local authorities and economic companies

including boundary committees activities. The firm

provides comprehensive legal consultancy to local

authorities and economic companies on tenders,

development agreements, real estate deals, etc.

Environment:

The firm advises and supports com-

panies in ongoing environmental matters including

land pollution, rehabilitating polluted land, air and

noise pollution, handling hazardous substances

and business licensing. Managing Senior Partner

IlanShavit-Stricks heads a national cleanup project

for the Kiryat Plada waste site in Akko, being imple-

mented in coordination with the Environmental

Protection Ministry.

Defamation:

The firm has extensive experience in

defamation issues including issuing gag orders.

The firmprovides legal support to litigants in defa-

mation suits representing both plaintiffs caused

harm and defendants.
