Established in 1987, Arnon Grafy & Co. is a bou-
tique law firm comprising seven lawyers spe-
cializing in civil and commercial law, litigation,

Arnon Grafy
Arnon Grafy, the firm’s Founder and Senior Part-
ner, has been an attorney since 1984. A gradu-
ate of Tel Aviv University (LL.B.) and Bar Ilan
University (LL.M.), and as part of his Ph.D., he
is currently proposing work for a doctoral disser-
tation on research into class action suits. Adv.
Grafy holds many public offices including: Joint
Chairman of the Class Action Committee of the
Israel Bar Association and Former Chairman of
the Banking Committee of the Israeli Bar; Former
Member of the National Disciplinary Committee
of the Bar; an Arbitrator in disputes of large eco-
nomic value; and as a Trustee for companies’
creditors arrangements.
Adv. Grafy provides expert legal opinion in vari-
ous areas, lectures in professional courses in
Israel and overseas, and writes articles in legal
periodicals and professional journals.

setting rulings in banking and class actions, such

Civil and Commercial Law
Arnon Grafy & Co. specializes in the field of litiga-
tion, as well as liquidations and receiverships,
realization of liens, civil actions, tort claims,
banking lawsuits and legal actions in the area of
capital market, local authorities laws and better-
ment levy, tenders, class actions, land law, con-
tracts, employment law and additional branches
in the field of civil-commercial law.
The firm specializes in representing large groups
of plaintiffs in various fields, buyers groups in-
cluding associations siffering damage in various
fields, such as banking, construction, and vari-
ous industries in the market.
Banking
The firm is one of the country’s foremost special-
ists in representing clients in their claims against
banks. Arnon Grafy & Co. has over the years won
many precedent setting cases on behalf of its
clients including: prohibiting banks from linking
the granting of loans to the purchase of other ser-
vices (tie-in sale); defining the responsibilities of
banks in financial support of projects; requiring
changes in interest to be actively agreed by cus-
tomers; compelling banks to pay compensation
for negligent acts; and requiring banks to explain
the risks in Maof futures trading.
The firm also acts on behalf of non-banking cred-
it companies in realizing liens.
Litigation
The firm specializes in the most complicated and
largest litigation cases, which require creative,
original and complex thinking, strategies and
tactics and multidisciplinary solutions.
Class Actions
Arnon Grafy & Co. has pioneered class action
suits in Israel and was appointed to represent
the Israel Bar Association on the Knesset Consti-
tution, Law and Justice Committee in formulating
the law and serves as President of the Class Ac-
tion and Derivatives Committee of the Israel Bar
Association. Adv. Grafy has acquired extensive
and broad experience in this sector representing
both plaintiffs and defendants. The firm has also
acquitted defendants from suits worth hundreds
of millions of shekels. A class action suit filed
against Perrigo Co. was also recently approved
worth hundreds of millions of shekels in the “El-
troxin affair” in which Adv. Grafy was appointed
to the team representing the plaintiffs.
Claims in the Energy Field
Representing oil companies, claims to release
gas stations from restrictive arrangements,
agreements for the purchase and construction
of gas stations and more. In legal battles with
fuel providers, main points were set that were
strengthened by the opinion of the Attorney Gen-
eral, submitted to the Supreme Court.
